Comment: The noise reduction is satisfactory, but the sound quality is just passible, some static. When you attach an external source such as an ipod, the volume is not amplified, and is therefore low, which makes it difficult to hear in a noisy environment.

Comment: Seems like a very good product. Protects your hearing very well. My only complaint would be that you can't adjust the sound level of the AUX/MP3 player input on the headphones, you have to adjust it on the source. Its kind of weird, you don't have to turn the unit on to play your MP3 player music, it just plays no matter what.

Comment: I bought the Peltor WorkTunes headphones for my husband because we have so much yard upkeep that requires hearing protection. They have made an endless chore much more tolerable and I believe even enjoyable. I have used the headphones myself and find them comfortable and great at blocking the noise. I could not tell that my tiller was on except for the vibrations. My husband was skeptical and even wanted to send them back before he had used them. Now, he doesn't cut, blow, weed whack, edge or till without them. A great product that I can heartily endorse with pleasure.

Comment: Ordered a Peltor Work Tunes...and will say it works great...I like the digital tuning...preset your favorites and tune in with the push of a botton...sound quality is good...and seems to stay tuned in...no fading...for the price...it's a great buy.

Summary: Keeps you Safe, and Entertained
Comment: I always liked the idea of this product and was surprised at how well it works. I work in a steel building 20 miles from Philadelphia's radio towers yet I get good reception with these. Powered off they are good hearing protection. When I use a FM transmitter on my laptop I can receive the signal even outside of the building. The input for the MP3 etc works well, just turn off the power to the radio. The earphones are passive and will work without batteries and do not turn off the radio signal when plugged in so you can get two sound sources at the time. I am very happy with these.
